Bryan Caudle

Bio

Mr. Caudle is honored to serve as board member representing the 5th district. As a veteran IT professional for over 25 years, Mr. Caudle brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to the Powhatan Internet Coop team. During the past ten years, he has served two Richmond-based global non-profit organizations in various technical leadership roles and currently serves as Enterprise Architect for Childfund International, a child sponsorship organization serving nearly 30 countries. Responsible for the design and implementation of numerous global networks, systems, and application platforms, this experience provides great insight into the challenges of service delivery in a wide range of challenging environments. Prior to this service, his full-time role was as president and CTO for Commonwealth Technical services Inc, a local Internet Service Provider and consulting firm founded in 1994. With nearly 20 years of ISP and datacenter experience, Mr. Caudle understands the challenges that come with building and operating a facilities-based ISP serving various business and individual customers. In 2006, Mr. Caudle also founded the Virginia Computer Museum dedicated to the preservation of our technology history and heritage, actively collects computer systems and artifacts from the 1960’s-2000’s, and has restored most of the systems in the collection to full working order. When not involved in technology related projects, he enjoys aviation, travel, and family time. The Caudle family has been residents of western Powhatan since 2011.
